Naib tehsildar suspended

The Divisional Commissioner Kangra has suspended naib tehsildar posted in Kotla yesterday for alleged dereliction in official duty. People had submitted complaints against him.

SDM, Jawali, Mohan Dutt Sharma disclosed today that people had submitted complaints against the naib tehsildar relating to his alleged irresponsible style of working.

He was neglecting his official duties.

“He was not doing mutations and keeping other revenue-related works pending for a long. The divisional commissioner has issued order for his suspension as part of disciplinary action against him,” he informed.

He revealed that the action had been taken following report of the tehsildar, Jawali who had conducted inquiry into certain complaints received by him.
