The Board of Jammu and Kashmir State Agro Industries Development Corporation Limited (JKAIDCL) here today decided to enhance the retirement age of the corporation employees from 58 to 60 years.
The decision was taken at the 64th meeting of the Board of Directors held here under the chairmanship of Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Nabi Lone, who is also the chairman of the Corporation.
The Board decided that an employee of JKAIDCL in service on June 1, 2014, or appointed on or after it, shall retire on attaining the age of 60 years.
Implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission issue was agreed in principle, however, the Board directed the Managing Director to come up with the draft resolution to work out the financial implications in this regard.
To improve the working of the Corporation, the Board decided the JKAIDCL would take three posts of General Manager on deputation basis from the General Administration Department and their pay would be drawn from the Corporation.
