SOG in charge suspended

Dehradun, June 12

Uttarakhand DGP BS Sidhu, taking cognisance of a report submitted by special investigating team (SIT) in charge Sadanand Datte, has ordered the suspension of Special Operations Group (SOG) in charge Ravindra Yadav and constable Sukram Pal posted at Nehru Colony police station for their alleged involvement in the medical entrance exam fraud.

The DGP has attached SP (rural) Manikant Mishra to police headquarters. The SOG team comprising 11 members was posted out from Dehradun to other districts. — TNS
