Chandigarh, May 20
IPS officers Navdeep Singh Brar and Guriqbal Singh Sidhu, who were presently holding the charge of assistant superintendents of police (ASP) South and East, respectively, have been promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).
The officers were promoted by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

Sources said Brar was expected to take the charge of the SP (City) here while Sidhu was being transferred to Arunachal Pradesh. — TNS
