Uppal housing scam to rock MC House meeting today

While BJP councillor Satinder Singh had demanded probe by a sitting Judge into the large-scale irregularities in allotting the land and further sale of flats in the Uppal Housing Society in Mani Majra, the MC General House will discuss the questions raised by the BJP councillor, tomorrow. 

Recently, in a press conference Singh had alleged that the flats were sold to a chosen few IAS and IPS officers and other influential people. There was no criteria adopted for the allotment, as some of the persons were allotted two or three houses with a single name. The mandatory EWS flats have not been constructed so far and the no action was taken even after the report of the CBI, the councillor had alleged. 

Singh said now the question was coming up for discussion in the MC House meet tomorrow.
