Yunus Khan Una DC, Chauhan Hamirpur’s

UNA, FEBRUARY 23
Yunus Khan, a 2010-batch IAS officer, today joined as the DC, Una, in place of Abhishek Jain, who has been transferred as Commissioner-cum-Director, Labour and Employment.
A resident of Malerkotla in Punjab, Yunus Khan has completed MSc in Bio-chemistry from Jamia Milia Islamia University and is pursuing PhD from JNU.
Talking to mediapersons, Yunus Khan said his priorities would be to address the problems of common man through inter-departmental coordination.
Hamirpur
Madan Chauhan, an IAS officer of 2007, joined as Deputy Commissioner here today. He had been DC Solan earlier and has served at various positions in the state.
The new DC said he would carry forward the programmes, including education quality improvement PRERNA, improvement of child sex ratio and beautification of Baba Balak Nath temple at Deotsidh.
