Pankaj Vikas Thakur, Deputy Director, Gulzar Group of Institutes (GGI), Khanna, was conferred the Bharat Gaurav Award for his meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role in the field of education and society. He was the only ??recipient from Punjab among 76 awardees at the event. The function was held at India International Centre New Delhi.
The award was given by the Chief Guest for the event, Dr Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam and Tarek Azouz Ambassador of Tunisia to India, Syed Sibtey Razi, former Governor of Assam, Dr Dinesh Oraon, speaker of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and Joginder Singh, former Director, Central Bureau of Investigation.
The dignitaries awarded Bharat Gaurav Awards to about 76 recipients from different parts of the country in the areas of research, education and social services. Thakur has been serving society through his relentless endeavors for raising educational standards. He keeps on innovating new ways of bringing education to the society.
