A public meeting of the police officials was held at Sanghol under DSP (D) Fatehgarh Sahib Karansher Singh Dhillon to discuss the ongoing drive against drugs.
A number of people from nearby villages, including Sanghol, Dhianu Majra, Kalewal, Panaichan, Khant, Manpur, Sidhu pur, Sandhari Majra and Prempura took part in the meeting.
The DSP appealed the people to come forward to give information about drug peddlers for the welfare of the society. He said under the strict instructions issued by the state government and senior officials in this regard, even any policeman would not be spared if found guilty.
