Jain takes over as DETC

Ludhiana, June 6

A PCS officer, JK Jain, has joined as District Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Ludhiana.

After assuming charge of his office today, Jain said he would work hard and perform his duties with utmost devotion and honesty.

Prior to his posting as DETC, he was posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner at Khanna. Known as a very honest and upright officer, Jain has served as SDM at Rajpura.

While speaking to media persons after assuming charge, JK Jain said maximum collection of taxes would be his fpriority. He said no person would be harassed at the Excise and Taxation Office and he would provide a corruption-free work environment.
