JK Jain, a PCS officer, today took charge as Khanna ADC. Officials of different departments welcomed him at his office.

Jain was earlier SDM, Rajpura, and he had also served as GA, Ludhiana. He said he would concentrate on the development of Khanna and would solve the problems being faced by the residents on priority. While talking to Ludhiana Tribune, JK Jain said he would try his best to address the traffic chaos in the city. — OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
