Grammy Award winner Bhatt to perform on Sept 27

Chandigarh, September 12

Grammy Award winner and Mohan veena exponent Vishwa Mohan Bhatt will perform at the Capitol Complex on September 27 as the Tourism Department has finalised the functions to celebrate World Tourism Week.

The celebrations will begin from September 22 and continue till September 27. A painting competition for children and a marathon will be organised on the occasion. Renowned playback singer Javed Ali will also enthrall the audience on September 24. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
