It was nothing short of Bharat milaap...actor Yograj, in his new avatar, grey beard and matching grey tuft of thick hair, and yesteryear actor Guggu Gill in his old avatar, which by now we all know is defined in two words, ‘healthily happy’, spoke nineteen-to-dozen about their camaraderie, about sharing screen space, generously calling each other as wada veer and chota veer. And all this happens at the poster launch of the film 25 Kille.

The Punjabi movie directed by Simranjit Singh Hundal and produced by Amanpreet Singh Sodhi, Vikram Singh and Shirin Morani Singh is a story of four jatt brothers and how they face tough times.

As the entire cast pulled down the red curtain, revealing the poster of their film 25 Kille, the ‘brothers’ still went on with their milaap!

Yograj, who has recently had a throat surgery, thanked Guggu Gill enough, leaving the cast in metaphorical tears! “Whenever, I have taken a step without my veer Guggu Gill, it has been an incomplete one. I wish in next birth we are born to one mother. About the film, I must say, I have shot for so many films, but I haven’t come across this kind of discipline and professionalism in any other project like I did see it for 25 Kille,”

He passes the mike to Guggu Gill to talk about the film and also add brotherly seasoning! “I am so glad that we have come together after a long time; now sharing a screen space together after almost 16 years,” says Guggu Gill with a warm smile meant only for Yograj.

Actor Ranjha Vikram Singh gets a go first. “This is my debut Punjabi film; I am doing a lot of great projects Down South like Rana Vikrama, Rebel and Manadhil Maaya, Seidhai,” says the actor dressed in all back. As for the prefix Ranjha to his name, “Oh! This is my nick-name.” He smiles.

The movie 25 Kille, which is ready for an August 25 release, will have both action and comedy. “A total family entertainer,” is how the director Simranjit Singh Hundal describes it.
