Guess what? The bee came running and skipping with its hands in the air just like the umpire declares—it’s a six—in a cricket match and it couldn’t stop singing Balle Balle! Turns out that the bee’s been drinking all day, getting high on the song, Patiala Peg, sung by African students; of course it’s a cover of that Diljit Dosanjh’s song that was released in 2014. But that’s not all the festivity this tiny little tipsy thing is buzzing over. Organised by the Sikh Cultural Society, the Sikh Day Parade brought together Sikhs from gurdwara congregations across New York’s tri-state area. In Canada, the annual parade is called the Khalsa Day Parade! The videos of the Sikh Day Parade have gone viral on the internet.
