Fashion fiesta

A two-day lifestyle exhibition - Fashion Verandah, got off to a stylish start at Panchkula’s Hotel Welcom Bella Vista. Over 30 fashion designers, accessories specialists and Home Décor houses are displaying their products for this season.

The exhibition opened a new vista for fashion and lifestyle products’ enthusiasts as they got the finest collection of apparels, Jewels, Home Furnishings, Interiors, Foot Wear, and other exciting items from designers who have come from not just tri-city but also from parts of North India, Kolkata and Mumbai. Panache Mumbai has brought Pakistani suits, formal wear and designer dress material, Azara, Delhi is here with its designer wear suits, Posh Amritsar has showcased Western wear, Shikha Monga has brought her line ‘Manshaa’. Her collections boast of pretty pastels and bright colours. The range of jumpsuits, palazzo sets in georgette are breathtaking. Shikha’s designs are embellished with unique enhancements like 3 D hand sequin embroidery, beadwork, Dabka, Gota and Zari for summer weddings. A young Fashion Designer Karishma who owns the Kimz label is showcasing an exquisite summer collection which is inclusive of Bollywood designs. Nidhi Studio is present with a range which has pleasing hues of peaches and yellows with loads of subtle gold, making the designs tasteful and appealing.

A major attraction is imitation jewellery specialist Beaming Strings- an export brand of copper based exquisite fashion jewelry decked up with American Diamonds. The USP of Fashion Verandah is that it has got a group of young fashion designers together on one platform. These designers are offering gowns, sarees, designer suits and much more.
