Rishi Kapoor has mourned the death of renowned singer and preacher Junaid Jamshed, who died in a plane crash in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. His family — wife and three children — were also believed to be on board the ill-fated Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-661, which crashed.
“RIP. My Condolences to the bereaved families of the PIA Flight crash. We lost an artist in Junaid Jamshed. May God Bless all! Ameen,” Rishi tweeted on Wednesday night. Actress Sophie Choudry too mourned the death of Junaid. “So sad! As a teen I sang on the album my mentor Biddu produced for him. He was a pop icon! Prayers for Junaid Jamshed & all the victims. RIP,” she tweeted. — IANS
