Super exciting
An encouraging news for Punjabi—well-known name from the Hindi entertainment industry, Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures, has released the logo of their first Punjabi film, Super Singh, starring Diljit Dosanjh, which will be directed by Punjab 1984 fame Anurag Singh.
Says the director, “With Super Singh, the first-ever Punjabi language super hero film, we have found exactly what we were looking for.” Super Singh is a co-production between Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Anurag Singh and Pawan Gill’s Brat Films. The shooting of the film is complete and it’s being readied for a June 2017 worldwide release.
In need of a new Doc
Jazzy B, Dr Zeus and Kaur B song’s Mitran De Boot was a hit track, but it looks like, a kind of similar looking song, Angreji Wali Madam, sung by Kulwinder Billa, music by Dr Zeus featuring Wamiqa Gabbi, just doesn’t do the trick.
The present song has almost similar music like the previous one, so no change. Hey Doc, time to change your operating technique! Punjabi singer Kulwinder Billa is otherwise known to come up with a new format each time, this time he should have picked up a new Doc!

Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal reveals the poster of his upcoming film Manje Bistre, directed by Baljit Singh Deo.
The story of the film is written by Gippy himself. Looks like after directing a successful Punjabi film last year, Ardaas, Gippy wants to give a shot to his writing skill as well. The film is produced by, again, Gippy Grewal!
