Mac Singh’s love for music started in Class IV when he listened to Attaullah Khan’s A thewa mundri da thewa. He sang the song in school to win the prize! Encouraged by his music teacher, Mac has been learning music and with Hijack he fulfills his dream of becoming a singer! A fun track that goes Hijack ho je ni jahaj rab kerke jide vich jana tu Canada chad ke has been put together by Sewak Khanna, Sonu Khanna and Mac Singh. “When I listened to the lyrics I chuckled and that’s the reaction we have got whenever we played the dummy composition for our friends,” opens Mac, an entrepreneur based in Khanna. The singer promises that anyone can hum this number. “Increasingly, the songs have so much rap in them that you can’t catch the song, however, Hijack is fresh and peppy and I wish whosoever listens to this one plays it again.”
Sardool Sikander, Gurdas Maan and Manmohan Waris are the music giants that Mac, earlier Amrinder Singh, is inspired by. Launched by Team Work Filmz, Hijack will hit the music channels and YouTube on October 15th. “The lyrics are relatable, composition simple and I am hoping that I am able to win listeners with I,” says Mac, who is open to any good Pollywood, Bollowood or Hollywood work that comes his way…really!
