All right then, Michelle Obama’s viral Trump-slamming speech has the bee rooting for the first lady, but this little thing has a massive crush on viral celebrity Ken Bone, the charming questioner from Sunday night’s presidential debate who achieved instant Internet fame for his smart outfit and articulate question. While the bee is off to get a pair of black-rimmed spectacles and a red sweater, its new friend, Funky Monkey, is taking over and finding all things that are making it big on the internet. A video slamming Arvind Kejriwal for demanding proof of surgical strikes that went viral on Dussehra was the monkey’s first find. “And, Dussehra was all about the victory of good over evil!” says the Funky Monkey to the bee who is now clad in red sweater and black rimmed glasses.
So much for imitation, the bee’s slightly annoyed with the little ape aping its sarcasm! “Insecure, are we?” grins Funky Monkey, and the bee knows exactly who to mention to get the monkey off its back. Presenting, the Tiger, Tiger Shroff, whose memes have gone viral on the internet! “This ain’t no monkey business,” smiles the bee!
Face the book
Now that we know our bee is a little too social (pretty much matching the standards of the social butterfly), there are always a few guests that drop by, be it the bee gang or the Funky Monkey! Considering how space sharing can be a little bit of a problem, the bee’s taking tips from this viral post from a mom in Michigan!
With the advent of winter, a mother in Michigan laid some ground rules for changing the thermostat in her house. Autumn Brandon posted her rules on Facebook on October 10 and it has quickly gone viral.
“Unless you answer yes to all of these… DO NOT TURN ON THE HEAT!!!” the index card taped to the thermostat read.
“Are you wearing a hoodie, pants, socks?”
“Is it November? ”
“Do you pay the gas bill?”
So far, the post has more than 6,000 shares, 25,000 comments and 57,000 likes.

Insta hit
The bee bets that if you had a maths teacher like Oksana Neveselaya from Minsk in Belarus, you’d all be arithmetic experts! This teacher has become an overnight celebrity after footage of her teaching a class wearing a short, tight grey dress, shot by one of her students, was posted on the internet. Her Instagram page has now become viral too.
Meanwhile, Rebecca Lindsay’s costume at New York City’s Comic Con has gone viral on Instagram and Funky Monkey’s determined to ape the look for Halloween! Quite funky, don’t you think?
Tube tales
If you, like Justin Bieber, like ‘PPAP’ which is a 2016 Japanese earworm-style music video performed by Piko-Taro, you must check out Baba Sehgal’s collaboration with Tata CLiQ doing his own rendition of the viral PPAP (Pen Pineapple Apple Pen). Though Funky Monkey would like to replace “pineapple” with a banana, our bee’s just happy doing the moves in red sweater and black rimmed glasses!
