Selvie a wonder pet

“If you provide pets with the very basic that they need, they reward you with all their affection,” says Deepti Dhawan, a teacher by profession as she talks of her pet.

Deepti got Selvie on her birthday from a very dear friend, “He just loves dogs and I was the opposite. I just hated dogs but after meeting Selvie I am absolutely in love with her.” This Tomboy Pomeranian with her magical eyes can impress anyone out there. “She is so active, from morning till night she just loves to play,” shares Pallavi, elder daughter of Deepti.

Selvie is treated like any other family member in the Dhawan household. Deepti had to make a separate bed in her bedroom because she only sleeps with her. Ever ready for a walk, this super active pet loves homemade food especially the non-vegetarian fare. A true foodie, she only chases food. So, if you have a treat for her, you are on your way to becoming best friends with her. “Whenever I cook cottage cheese, she keeps me company in the kitchen till food is cooked and waits for me to feed her because it’s her most favourite food but surprisingly she is not that fat like me.” laughs Deepti.

Always wanting to feel fresh, she is ever ready for a bath too and the only difficult part is to control her when she is wet for she loves to frisk around in glee.
