It is indeed a big day for Chandigarh-based actor director Jasraj Singh Bhatti, he knows deep down his heart who has made it possible. It is a news that needs to be shared with one and all, his latest short film, The Story of a Story has been officially selected for various prestigious international and national film festivals. Directed by Jasraj Singh Bhatti, the film is written by Jaspal Bhatti and it has been created by film and acting training school Mad Arts, founded by Jaspal Bhatti himself. The film stars both student actors and technicians involved who were involved in the project. The Story Of A Story has been officially selected at the prestigious film festival- Riverside International Film Festival, California (USA). It has also been officially selected at The Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. About the story of the story, Jasraj shares, “ It is a seven minutes black and white film about the struggles of a writer who wants to get a story published about an Indian army officer who was killed in the India-Pakistan Kargil war.” As to how the idea came to Jasraj, he fondly takes a trip down the memory lane. “I came across the story literally on a piece of paper, which was present in my father’s file, which contained all his lectures that he used to give at Mad Arts. I was memesrised by the beautiful story that my father had apparently never discussed with me,” adds Jasraj who looks at it as a coincidence that it came his way. Adds Jasraj, “The film is a tribute from me to him.” The film stars Savita Bhatti, Sachin Sharma, Anoop Sharma, Brijesh Ahuja and Surilie Jasraj Singh.
