Obsession or selflessness, which one would you pick? Well, hold that thought for a bit, the choice is not going to be easy, for everything about Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon-starrer show Beyhadh is literally beyhadh, just as the name suggests.
Right from the protagonist Maya Mehrotra’s (played by Jennifer Winget) passion and obsession for love, to Arjun’s (essayed by Kushal Tandon) overreaching ambition to garner fame; no emotion is guarded by any limits.
Jennifer, who charmed one and all with her Dill Mill Gaye stint as Dr Riddhima Gupta, takes the centre-stage in this one, by portraying an insomniac business tycoon with a dark past, who is obsessed with Beyhadh’s male lead Arjun. So, those who are sick and tired of watching mushy and lovey-dovey shows can get a dose of thrill and romance, with this one.
Currently at the outset of its most intriguing twist, the romantic thriller television series sees Arjun caught up in a love triangle enveloped in a deep dilemma of having to choose between two polar opposite shades of love—one, Maya’s love fuelled on obsession, and Saanjh’s (Anjeri Vajani) selfless and pure love. Watch out!
Lights, camera...action
The Indian romantic thriller television series, which premiered on Sony on October 11 this year; is earning rave reviews from viewers for its story with a difference, yet peppered with a touch of realism.
We bet you didn’t know...
Handsome hunk Kushal Tandon was announced the first runner-up of Grasim Mr India contest held in January 2005. But that’s not all, UK-based magazine Eastern Eye ranked Tandon sixth in its 50 Sexiest Asian Men 2012 list!
Paint it white
While those follow the show would be racking their brains as to why Maya is seen wearing white-hued outfits in every single episode. Well, until the show’s makers decide to let the secret out; perhaps this might help- white happens to be Winget’s favourite colour in real life too! We are sure she does not mind having to wear the colour ‘officially’ to work every day.
Big switch
Jennifer started her career at the age of 12 as a child artist in Shaka Laka Boom Boom. She got her first big break with popular soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay where she essayed the role of Sneha. She also shared screen space with Abhishek Bachchan in the film- Kuch Na Kaho.
