So what if he has an MBA degree adorning his résumé? Aakash Kohli, who is gainfully employed with a private firm at Chandigarh’s IT Park, wears his unique sense of style high up his sleeve. And mind you, he does have noteworthy pearls of wisdom to share, which could make his fellow fashionistas surge up their radar!
What does sense of style connote to you?
Relaxed, cool and classy. A bit preppy; that emphasises both comfort as well as style.
Latest addition to your treasure trove of clothing or accessories?
I have added some hep apparel to my wardrobe- couple of freshly imported Hollister’s and American Eagle t-shirts. Also, I am a recent owner of an Armani messenger bag and a cool watch by Guess.
Brand-crazy or street pick-ups?
Brand-crazy, for sure.
My style icon would be?
It has to be David Gandy.
Who do you think is the worst-dressed?
Anyone who isn’t comfortable in what he or she is wearing.
Which look would you prefer – sporty, chic or glamorous?
All three; according to my mood swings! But my all-time favourite would be glamorous.
One fashion trend that goes beyond your comprehension?
Low-waist denims.
Your take on accessories?
Accessories can jazz up what you wear, thus showing that you take care of every minute detail. But for men, too many accessories can be a drawback. An elegant watch and a simple designer silver ‘kadaa’ are a must have for me. Also, wrist bands work well with a casual-denim look.
If given a choice, which designer would you choose?
Marc Jacobs.
What gives your confidence a high?
Keeping my wardrobe and every other sphere of my life up-to-date!
