In all, 2,185 cases of financial nature involving more than Rs3 crore were settled in Rashtriya Lok Adalat organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in Sonepat, Gohana, Ganaur and Kharkhoda on Saturday.
Yashveer Singh Rathore, District and Session Judge and DLSA chairman, presided over the Lok Adalat proceedings.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Tayyab Hussain said 18 cases were of motor vehicle accident involving Rs1.32 crore, 89 cases of cheque bounce involving Rs81.6 lakh and 40 cases of bank loans involving a recovery of Rs86.55 lakh.
