Kurukshetra/Hisar, May 31

Kurukshetra resident Tejasvi Rana has secured the 12th rank in the UPSC exam. Tejasvi studied BSc (Economics) at the IIT, Kanpur. It was her second attempt. Her father Kuldeep Rana is a professor in the Department of Economics at the KU.

Dr Prashant Jilova, son of another KU faculty member, has been ranked 108th. He is undergoing training as an IRS official at Nagpur. It was Prashant's third attempt. His father Dr CR Jilova is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Laws.

Meanwhile,  Rahul Sandhu, a resident of Sector 13 in Hisar hailing from Khanda Kheri village in the district, has secured the  60th rank in the Civil Services examination. It was his second attempt.

Another Hisar youth, Gaurav Saini, an MBBS, got the  89th rank in his second attempt. His father Dr Dalbir Singh is the District Social Welfare Officer.
