26-year-old youth ‘castrated’

A 26-year-old youth identified as Gullu of Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh was admitted to Civil Hospital here late last night with some serious injuries on his private parts.

It is being suspected to be a case of castration. A case has been registered on the victim’s complaint at civil lines police station against unidentified persons.

The victim was found lying unconscious on Sonepat-Kharkhoda road late last night by someone, who got him admitted to the Civil Hospital.

Principal Medical Officer Dr CP Arora said injuries had been caused on the victim’s private parts.

“He is under treatment and his actual condition will be established after he undergoes a few tests,” he said.

The victim told the police that he was living with a eunuch in Sonepat for the last few months. Last evening after drinking tea, he lost consciousness and did not remember what happened. — OC
