8-yr-old sodomised, killed in Rohtak

The body of an eight-year-old boy was found in bushes at Garhi Sampla village in Rohtak district on Friday.
A preliminary investigation has indicated that the boy was sodomised before death.
The boy, who was the son of a migrant labourer, had gone to a marriage in his neighbourhood in the village on March 27. However, he did not return home till the next day, following which his father filed a complaint with the police.
On Friday morning, some villagers spotted the body in the bushes and informed the police. A team of investigators and forensic experts examined the spot and sent the body for an autopsy.
Sampla SHO Kulbeer Singh said an investigation regarding the matter was underway. However, no arrests had been made till the time of filing this report.
