AAP to gift Ganga-jal to CM, ministers

The Haryana unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has decided to gift ‘Ganga-jal’ to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and his Cabinet colleagues so that better sense prevails on them and they start working for the welfare of the people.

This was stated by Naveen Jaihind, AAP state president, while addressing a press conference here on Friday.

Jaihind is leading a ‘kanwar yatra’ of AAP volunteers, who had brought ‘Ganga-jal’ with a view to “purify” Haryana. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
