Achievements of DRDO highlighted

MSR Prasad, Director, Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad, today highlighted the advance technologies being adopted by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to indigenously develop advanced weapons.
Prasad, who has made a significant contribution in the development of missiles in India, was here at the inaugural session of a two-day national conference on recent advances in mechanical engineering (NCRAME 2017) at the NIT, Kurukshetra.
While addressing around 200 delegates from all over the country, faculty and students of the NIT, he stressed on more advancement in defence sector, including missiles, aircrafts, and weapons. He also highlighted the contribution of the DRDO in the country’s defence through power presentation.
