Budhiraja is NSUI chief

Divanshu Budhiraja has been elected as the president of the Haryana unit of the National Student Union of India (NSUI). Divanshu, who polled 1,375 of the 1811 votes, defeated four other contenders, including Navdeep, Naveen, Bharti and Prashat. Pradeep Ghangas defeated Akash, Sumit, Mukesh, Vikas and Sahil for the post of general secretary.Krishan Gaurav has been elected as the secretary. TNS

Woman booked
The police have booked an unidentified woman on the charge of uploading an obscene photo on a WhatsApp group created by Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda.The case was registered on the complaint of Congress worker Sudha Malik. She alleged that a Rohtak woman had created a fake WhatsApp account in her name and uploaded an obscene photo on the group. OC

Girl found hanging
Panic gripped Mewat Model School in Nuh on Tuesday evening after a Class XII student was found hanging in her hostel room. Deceased Renu was a resident of Saddiq Nagar and had joined the hostel after Diwali.  The police claimed that it appeared to be a suicide, but her family pleaded that it was murder. TNS
