Campaign to enrol more beneficiaries under schemes

Chandigarh, May 29

The Haryana Building and other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board is running a special registration campaign to cover more beneficiaries under various welfare schemes.

A spokesperson said the campaign would continue till June 15. He said 22 welfare schemes were being implemented by the board for construction workers.

He said all registered beneficiaries would be entitled to get benefits amounting to Rs 51,000 under the ‘kanyadaan scheme’ for three daughters and scholarship worth Rs 3,000 to Rs 15,000 per annum under the scheme for providing financial assistance for education to their children. They would get monthly pension in addition to other such schemes. — TNS
