Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today launched the ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra’ portal to provide unique identity to each family in the state in order to deliver the benefits of government schemes in a transparent manner.
The Chief Minister addressed a press conference here after launching the portal. All Deputy Commissioners joined the event through videoconferencing.
He said the portal would provide a unique identity to a family. It would have the name of the head of the family on top. For this, the head of the family would have to deposit a form mentioning the full details of his family with his signature at the Atal Sewa Kendra or Antyodaya Sewa Kendra, which would be updated by the departments concerned.
He said registration of all cremation grounds and graveyards had also been completed. The chowkidars in villages and municipalities in the cities would submit the details of the last rites performed in their cremation grounds and in the graveyards, for which they would be given incentives.
The CMsaid the government wanted to ensure easy delivery of services to people.
