Dancer from state on ‘Bigg Boss 11’

Haryanavi dancer Sapna Choudhary is now on Salman Khan’s “Bigg Boss 11”, a reality television show on Colors. She was seen shaking a leg with Salman last evening.
Hailing from Rohtak, 27-year-old Sapna is known for her stage performances and the many controversies surrounding her.
She was recently booked under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act over the lyrics of a song. She was given interim bail by the High Court.
When Salman asked about disapproval of her profession, Sapna said, “There is nothing wrong in it. It depends on how people perceive things.”
Sapna had consumed some poisonous substance in September last year. She had taken the extreme step due to online harassment as her performances were dubbed vulgar.
Recalling her suicide attempt, she said, “A lot has changed. I used to get bothered by what others talked about me. But now, I don’t care. I don’t even listen to them.”
Her father’s death when she was just 12 years old had made her take up dancing to support her family. There was no looking back since.
