DGP hails hockey star’s journey

Former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh, who is a DSP in the Haryana police, on Sunday met Director General of Police (DGP) BS Sandhu here.
Sandeep apprised the DGP about the upcoming movie ‘Soorma’, which is based on his rise and fall in the career. The story of Soorma will highlight his journey before and after the gunshot that people do not know about.
Congratulating Sandeep on the occasion, Sandhu said like his achievements in 2010 Commonwealth Games, Sultan Azlan Shah Cup tournament and others on ground, his biopic would also be a great success among the people. The movie based on the player would further help in promoting hockey in a big way. It will motivate as well as inspire others to work hard and give their best.
