DHBVN’s out-of-court settlement

Chandigarh: The DHBVN has extended an out-of-court settlement of pending court cases/arbitration cases scheme for several categories of electricity consumers up to March 31. The scheme will be applicable for settlement of all disputes of electricity consumers pending in courts, including the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, the State Commission or in arbitration and cases under appeal with appellate authority, as on November 30, 2017. tns

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
