DHBVN suspends 11 officials

Hisar: The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has suspended 11 officials, including three Executive Engineers (XENs), in connection with financial irregularities in implementation of the Integrated Power Development Scheme in several places under its jurisdiction. RK Jain, Chief Engineer, planning design and construction wing, said several irregularities had been detected in implementation of the scheme, after which the action was taken. After an inquiry, 11 officials had been suspended, who would be issued chargesheet.  The Executive Engineers were Dalbir, Sukhbir Kamboj and Dinesh Sharma. Jain said further inquiry was going on. "We are working on the amount involved," he said. Sources said Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shatrujeet Kapur visited the headquarters recently, after which the irregularities came to light. TNS
