The National Institute of Technology (NIT) here and Bangalore-based AEON Learning, India’s leading edu-tech enterprise, launched Acadgild Centre of Excellence on Emerging Technology (ACEET) on the NIT campus.

The ACEET programme will offer courses to enhance the technical skills of students and executives.

NIT director Satish Kumar said the initiative would help stakeholders meet the rapidly growing demand for skilled professionals on technologies, including data science, data analytics, the blockchain, artificial learning and big data.

The facility would offer these programmes in a hybrid model that includes both real-time live online classes and physical classroom delivery mode, catering to both on-campus as well as remote learner via the AcadGild learning platform, delivered by highly experienced industry and subject matter experts.

Karthik KS, founder of AEON Learning, said around 65 per cent technological and non-technological jobs would be redefined by swift advancements in machine learning, AI and automation at the workplace.
