Every property in K’shetra to have unique ID

Every property under the limits of the municipal council (MC) in Kurukshetra will get unique property identification code and the owners will be able to see the details of their assets online using these codes.

The unique ID plates will be installed outside every property by the MC.

Partha Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kurukshetra, said, “All properties under the MC limits will be covered under the project and the owners will be able to see the details regarding their assets online. For this, a survey has been conducted with the help of drones by a private firm and to authenticate its report, a company allotted the task will also conduct a door-to-door survey. The work has to be completed by June and all property owners will have to cooperate and provide property-related documents to our employees for the purpose.”

There are nearly 66,000 properties under the limits of the municipal council in Kurukshetra. The project will help the MC in property tax collection.

“Through this survey, information regarding the properties, houses and shops of every person will be updated online. It will help people in knowing about their property taxes, different schemes and facilities being provided to them,” the ADC said.
