Health Minister Anil Vij said today that the state government would provide free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh to families having an annual income up to Rs 1.8 lakh. For card, the beneficiaries have to get their family identity card prepared at any Atal Sewa Kendra, and if the annual income is less than Rs 1.8 lakh, the card will be delivered at the doorstep of the beneficiary.

Vij, through his Twitter account, said, “The state government has decided to prepare Ayushman Bharat cards of families earning up to Rs 1.8 lakh annually. Under the scheme, the families would be able to get free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in a year, and the entire cost will be borne by the state government.”
