German Shepherd wins show
Karnal, October 22
The Karnal Kennel Club organised a dog show at Sector 12 here today. More than 200 pet dogs of different breeds participated.
A German Shepherd was adjudged the best in the show. Raj Kumar, secretary of the club, said the German Shepherd of Veyom Gupta, a resident of Delhi, was adjudged the best dog of the show, while Shih Tzu breed of dog of Alok Nanda, a resident of Delhi, secured the second prize. Raj Kumar said German Shepherd of Amritsar’s Gurinder got the third position, while Siberian Husky of Delhi’s Tarun Malhotra remained at the fourth position.
He said it was the third show organised by this club to make people aware about the breeds.
