Chandigarh, October 18
The government has decided that payment of wages and other benefits to the persons engaged through agency under part-I of the outsourcing policy will be made in the cashless mode.
An official spokesman said the agency would make payment of wages and benefits like ESI and EPF to persons engaged in departments, boards, corporations and local bodies through the cashless mode such as RTGS and electronic wallet.
He said the government had enhanced wages of contractual or outsourced persons engaged under part-I of the outsourcing policy by 14.29 per cent with effect from January 1, 2016. — TNS
