Govt seeks family details from staff

The Haryana Government directed all it employees, including those working on a contractual basis and in boards, corporations and universities, to submit their family details to the DDOs of the department concerned by July 29.

An official spokesman said on Saturday that the state government was in the process of creating a ‘Parivar Pehchan Patra’ database.

The objective is to capture the details of all families in the state, including the families of government employees as well as those working on contract, to improve the delivery of various services and the government’s interface with citizens.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has created a portal, Parivar Pehchan Patra www.meraparivar.haryana.gov.in for the purpose.
