Earlier, the Board of Governors of the CDLSIET had taken a decision in this regard in a meeting held on August 8 and subsequently, the District Registrar, Firms and Societies, had de-registered the society on August 21.

With this notification, the number of government engineering colleges in the state has gone to four – the other three being State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nilokheri (Karnal), Chaudhary Ranbir Singh State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jhajjar and Rao Birender Singh State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Zainabad (Rewari).

“As a corollary to this decision, the staff posted in Panniwala Mota institute can be transferred to any of the four colleges of the state. Earlier, the staff was appointed specifically for this institute, since it was run by a society,” said sources in the Technical Education Department.
