HCMSA to go on strike tomorrow
Chandigarh, September 3
The Haryana Civil Medical Services Association (HCMSA) has decided to shut OPD services on September 5 in case their demands are not met by then.
The HCMSA has been demanding specialist allowance or extra increments to specialist doctors to retain them. Besides, they are seeking Assured Career Progression on a par with other states, that is, first, second, third and fourth ACP after four, nine, 13 and 20 years of service, respectively. Dr Jasbir Singh Parmar, president, HCMSA, said: “The government will be responsible for inconvenience caused to the public.” — TNS
