KU online admissions for PG courses begin today

Kurukshetra University has invited online applications under centralised admission system to 15 postgraduate courses. Students can apply online for common entrance test from May 17 onwards.
Kailash Chandra Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, said through the centralised admission process, the students could get admission in the university of their choice in their respective subjects through single application and entrance test. This will provide more opportunities to the students, he said.
The university is undertaking admission for economics, journalism and mass communication, political science, public administration, English, Hindi, history, geography, psychology, sociology, social work, physical education, MBA, MCom and LLM.
Prof Sunil Dhingra, coordinator of the centralised admission, said the portal for admission-kukadmissions.in had been developed and it would operational from May 17.
Students applying for these courses will be able to create their account and fill the application form online, along with the online submission of application and counseling fee.
The VC said admissions would be made on the basis of entrance test, which will be held from June 14. The schedule will be announced on the website and the counseling for these courses will be held online. In order to answer the technical queries of the applicants, seven helpline numbers have been provided. — TNS
