Kurukshetra legal services authority judged best

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kurukshetra, has been adjudged the best legal services authority in North India at a function organised by National Legal Service Authority (NALSA) at New Delhi.
Dr Kavita Kamboj, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, DLSA Kurukshetra, received the award.
Jagat Singh Rawat, panel advocate, DLSA, Palwal, received the award for best panel advocate at the national level as well as the North Zone level.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister of Law and Justice and Electronic and Information Technology, was the chief guest on this occasion.
Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Executive Chairman, NALSA; Justice NV Ramana, Executive Chairman, Supreme Court Legal Services Committee; Justice Dhiru Bhai Naran Bhai Patel, patron-in-chief, Delhi State Legal Services Authority, and Justice GS Sistani, Executive Chairman, Delhi State Legal Services Authority, were also present during the ceremony.
Parmod Goyal, member secretary, Haryana Legal Services Authority (HALSA), said they were working under the guidance of Justice Rajiv Sharma, Executive Chairman, HALSA. It was the result of his able guidance that the state got these awards.
