Left pvt job to prepare for UPSC

Sachin Gupta belongs to Sirsa town. He is now working as Assistant Director in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. a farmer in Sirsa town.Talking to The Tribune, he said his elder brothers were wholesale traders.He had his schooling from DAV Schol. He did engineering from Thapar University, Patiala.
“Though I got a good offer in the Maruti Suzuki at a package of Rs 6.5 lakh during his stint from 2013 to 2015. Later, my father urged me to go for the Civil Services. My mother is passionate about education especially for the underprivileged communities. That’s why I decided to leave my lucrative career in the private sector and decided to prepare for the civil services,” he said.
He said that his parents and teachers equally contributed and supported him in shaping his career and later preparing for the civil services. “Initially, my colleagues in the private sectors advised me against leaving the job in the private sector. But constant support from my parents encouraged me to give my best in my efforts for the Civil Services Examination”, he maintained.
Sachin said that he would prefer to join the Indian Administrative Services but yet to decided to select the cadre.
2 Rohtak youths make it too
Rohtak: Vinod Duhan of Rohtak has bagged the 74th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. Son of retired police official Sat Kumar and Khanpur Kalan university professor Sarla Devi, Vinod is serving as an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer in Manipur.
Sunil Sheoran of Ram Gopal Colony in Rohtak has got the 250th rank in the examination in his second attempt. Son of advocate Dharambir, Sunil had recently cleared the Indian Forest Service (IFS) sexam.
Bureaucrats’ kids crack examination
Chandigarh: Children of Haryana bureaucrats and police officers are among those who have cleared the civil services exams of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) results for which were declared on Friday. Vikramaditya Singh Malik, son of IAS officer YS Malik, cleared the exam with 48th rank. Shruti Arora, daughter of IAS officer Keshni Anand Arora, cleared the UPSC exam with 118th rank. Aditya Vikram Yadav, IPS officer Manoj Yadav's son, cleared the exam with 72nd rank.
