The Sarv Khap Panchayat has alleged that Yashpal Malik, president of the All-India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (AIJASS), and BJP MP from Kurukshetra Raj Kumar Saini are trying to divide society on caste lines in collusion with the state government.
The Sarv Khap Panchayat, during a meeting held here on Saturday, accused the AIJASS of misusing donations meant for the victims of the Jat quota agitation. It alleged that cases registered against several Jat youths for the 2016 agitation had not been withdrawn, while those registered against persons belonging to other castes had been withdrawn.
Hooda khap leader Dharampal Hooda said that Malik had reached out to the government numerous times, but neither the AIJASS supported arrested youths in court cases, nor were they released.
