JHAJJAR: A 40-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his cousins in Soldha village under Bahadurgarh subdivision in the district today.

A 40-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his cousins in Soldha village under Bahadurgarh subdivision in the district today.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh. The police registered a case against seven persons, including two women, on the complaint of Rajesh's brother Krishan.

In his complaint, Krishan alleged that Rajesh was assaulted by the accused with a sharp-edged weapon when he along with his wife Promila was going to fields this morning. Rajesh died on the spot.

Ramesh Kumar, Investigation Officer, said both the groups belonged to a family and had engaged in a scuffle over some issue around 15 days ago, but the row was resolved at that time. Investigation was on and the accused would be arrested soon, he said.
