Health Minister Anil Vij said that private medical colleges and private unaided medical institutions would have to sign a Rs 10-crore bond so that such institutions do not close down like Goldfield Medical College, Faridabad midway .
Vij said the Chief Minister had given his approval for fixing their fee. The annual tuition and development fee for the MBBS course would be Rs 10 lakh
The annual tuition fee for the BDS course would be Rs 2.80 lakh and NRIs would pay the initial fee of $44,000. Similarly, the annual tuition fee of Rs 1.50 lakh had been fixed for BAMS and BHMS courses while the initial fee of $25,000 would be charged for these courses from 15 per cent NRI students.
Except for the BPT and MPT courses, there would be an annual increase of 5 per cent in the fee for the rest of the courses.
