The Health Department has added 13 more private hospitals to its list of empanelled hospitals for the treatment of government employees and pensioners.
Sources said while two hospitals each had been empanelled from Chandigarh and Hisar, one hospital each from Gurugram, Bhiwani, Ambala, Sonepat, Karnal, Faridadbad, Rohtak Ballabhgarh and Kaithal had been added to the list of the authorised hospitals for the treatment of the government staff and pensioners. The decision to add more hospitals, where the government staff can avail cashless treatment, had been taken in public interest, the sources added.
